Cannot recommend Phoenix Sound enough. Consistently amazing service and always have a fabulous selection of vinyls. They will do their best to source any vinyls you request and everything is VERY reasonably priced - more often than not, the cheaper option to online which is so rare these days! The staff are all so friendly and willing to help and really welcoming. Always a pleasure visiting here!

This shop isn't just a shop, it's a place where music lovers can give and meet, chat and share their favourite bands and artists with other people. I love this place. All of the staff are so helpful and quick to reply to requests. Nothing is too much trouble. I’m head of Performing Arts at a local secondary school and they really support us. A local business that is thriving. They also give opportunities to local bands to perform in store. A great atmosphere, and a great store - my go to for everything music!

Attended for Black Friday Record Store Day. Whilst in line, we were offered hot drinks and pastries, which was welcomed. Shop opened at 8 and purchases were picked and paid for in very quick time. This is a shop where advice and help is offered in a friendly and courteous way. The range of product is vast and varied. What a great business to have on one’s doorstep.

Since the change of management, it seems to have breathed some new life into the store. Regularly having live music. The young band performing today sounded absolutely amazing, what a great opportunity for young musicians to have a space to perform and improve what's on in town. They have always been friendly when we have gone in with our kids, making them feel excited about buying records, both old and new.
