Record Store Day 2026

At Phoenix Sounds, we’re incredibly proud to have been part of Record Store Day since the very beginning. As one of the original independent record stores to join this global celebration, we’ve consistently brought the excitement of exclusive vinyl releases and live music to Newton Abbot. Since we took over Phoenix Sounds in 2022, we’ve kept the tradition alive, making Record Store Day the highlight of our shop’s year. We serve tea, coffee and Danish pastries to those in the queue and we open at 8am, with live music and loads of anticipation of seeing friends old and new. We love it!!
